Company Background
GameForm was founded in 2019 by Frank Argentieri and Paul Rosa. Argentieri had been forecasting the mobile gaming market since early 2016. He believed mobile gaming revenues could eventually surpass console and PC. His assumption was that people already play hyper-casual mobile games to pass the time and compete against friends. GameForm’s original mission was to take skill-based mobile games that players already love and allow them to compete for real money.
GameForm launched to the iOS App Store in October of 2019 with three total games.
In May of 2020 GameForm pivoted to a tournaments model to promote more competition through leaderboards and prize pools.
In December of 2020 Gary Perelberg joined the GameForm team as a cofounder and Head of Technology.
In March of 2021 GameForm launched real-money games for iMessage as an extension of the native app. Players can now challenge their friends for real money by simply sending a text. GameForm now serves tens of thousands of players with 15 total games on the platform.
